Beyond Curriculum

While promoting scholastic development, we ensure that the co-scholastic domain is given the requisite attention. It is imperative that the children have a sound personality and are able to face the world self-assuredly.

Considering this, we encourage the students to learn through hands-on experience, seminars and group activities, thereby providing the students an opportunity to explore and discover their capabilities and unique talents.

Oorja Programme

It is our sincere endeavour to provide our children with the best of opportunities. Oorja Programme, a Student Development Programme, is an educational initiative by Sachdeva Millennium School with a vision to focus on holistic development of our children especially by providing them a platform to express themselves in order to ensure their physical health and mental well-being is conducted for Classes III to X.

Under this programme, mainly 3 activities are conducted twice a week:

Clubs

SMS Agra not only encourages and promotes skills but also nurtures the hidden talent among the students. Considering the needs and interests of the students, various clubs have been introduced in the school. Students from Grade III-XII are given the option to be a part of any of the following Clubs:

Dramatics Club
Maths Club
Cyber Club
G. K. Club
Art Club
Dance Club
Music Club
Science Club

Competitions

In order to provide more time to our students for co-curricular activities in the school and to help them achieve a certain level of proficiency in the discipline/ activity, the school conducts different competitions for students.

Student Council

Leadership is the capacity to turn vision into reality. Student Council of the school helps the students to mould their leadership skills. Led by Head Girl and Head Boy, student council consists of Captains & Vice-Captains of various disciplines.

Summer Camp

To help our students constructively utilize their time during summer vacation, we conduct a summer camp for one/two weeks. The students of Grades III-VIII can join the Summer Camp for activities like Art and Craft, Cooking without Fire, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Dance, Reading and Writing, Games and Scholastic courses etc.

Educational Trips

SMS Agra aims at educating children through live experiences. Its curriculum is not confined to books and campus only. The school organizes various educational trips and excursions for the students periodically. In this series the students of different grades visit various places and gain information.

Social Initiatives

We aim to provide a positive learning environment which encourages and empowers all our students to develop high sense of justice, an unshaken faith in humanity, an acute concern of our surroundings and an abiding faith in honesty and integrity.

Active participation in social welfare initiatives throughout the year not only sensitises the students but also evolves them into responsible citizens.

Voluntary participation in Swach Bharat Abhiyan, Smart City campaign and awareness rally against usage of crackers and Chinese goods were widely appreciated.
